I am a Unity 3D games developer

I have a 2:1 degree in Games Technology from Bournemouth University and I have been using the Unity games engine for over 8 years.

My strongest areas are C# and game mechanic development. I also have extensive experience working with both 2D and 3D asset creation as well as all aspects of development within Unity (UI design, asset implementation etc.)

My development experience covers mobile, PC and VR and I can be of assistance with any project related to these platforms.

Jetpack Controller In Unity 3D

  • This is a jetpack character controller built using Unity 3D.

  • The controller is completely physics based and uses an active ragdoll that reacts to the environment around him.

  • The jetpack will fly in the direction the mouse in pointing and when the player is not adding thrust with the SPACE BAR, the character can flip using the Q,E,W,S,A and D keys.

Space Station 2.5D Shooter

  • This is a physics based space station shooter character controller.

  • The player can move the controller with WASD input which will apply force in the relevant direction.

  • The weapon will fire with mouse input and will apply a push back force to the character controller.

  • The character will aim to rotate toward where the mouse pointer is positioned.

Galaxy Generation in Unity 3D

  • This is a demo of a procedurally generated galaxy system. The system can generate up to 100,000 stars, each with up to 12 orbiting bodies.

  • Once the stars are generated, the system will create factions, trade routes, and names for all of the stars.

  • An A* pathfinding grid is also created which allows AI navigation. This is represented with the red line at the end of the video.
